Edinburgh artist David Luximon-Herbert -aka Vive La Rose – releases latest singleGiven Time, taken from the critically acclaimed debut album For She Who Hangs The Moon. The latest single is accompanied by two additional live session tracks (Interior Rules & Don’t Move Don’t Speak),available as a free download from the 15thFebruary via Bandcamp.
A heartfelt, country tinged love letter, Given Time was co-produced with Olly Betts of the Duke Spirit, and features Terry Edwards (PJ Harvey/Nick Cave) on brass, drums by Nicky Francis (Mono Club/Goldheart Assembly) and pedal steal from Mark Neary (Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds).
Currently at work on a new EP for release in autumn this year, as well as a follow up LP, Vive La Rose was created by Luximon-Herbert in 2014. Originally from Edinburgh, Luximon-Herbert moved to London where he played under his own name and with acts such as Welfare. Luximon-Herbert has already received praise from the likes ofBillboard Magazine, The National, RNRMagazine, and the Scottish press, with strong support across BBC Scotland & BBC Nan Gaidheal, leading to recent sell out headline shows at the likes of London’s esteemed Green Note.
